How To Draw On Someone's Screen Share Facetime

So, you're on a Facetime call and you want to draw on someone's screen share, right? I mean, who hasn't been there - you're trying to explain something, and words just aren't cutting it. You need to get visual, ASAP!
First things first, make sure you're running iOS 12 or later, or iPadOS - you'll need one of these to use the screen drawing feature. And, of course, you'll need to be on a Facetime call with someone who's screen sharing. Pretty basic, but I've gotta cover the bases, right?
Getting Started
Now, to actually start drawing, tap the screen sharing icon - it looks like a little rectangle with a triangle pointing out of it. Once you've done that, you'll see a bunch of annotation tools pop up - think markers, highlighters, and even a laser pointer (because, why not?).
Must Read
You can use these tools to draw all over the screen share - arrows, circles, squiggles... the possibilities are endless! And, if you're feeling extra fancy, you can even use the Apple Pencil (if you've got an iPad that supports it). I mean, talk about precision drawing...
Pro Tips
So, here's a pro tip: you can actually switch between tools by tapping the toolbar at the bottom of the screen. And, if you want to undo something, just tap the undo button (it looks like a little curly arrow). Easy peasy, right?

And, finally, when you're all done drawing, just tap the done button - it'll save your annotations and let you go back to your normal Facetime call. Voila! You've successfully drawn on someone's screen share, and you didn't even have to leave your comfy chair...
I mean, seriously, this feature is a total game changer - no more trying to explain complicated things over the phone. Just draw it out, literally! So, go ahead, give it a try - your friends (and your explanation skills) will thank you.
